Who is this guy?
I'm a gamer
I’ve been in love with video games since I was 6 yrs old.
The nappy kid on the left is me (when I was 6, not now lol), playing Bruce Lee on an Atari 800 XL. A few years later I was the proud owner of an NES putting in long hours as everyone's favorite Italian plumber. I’ve owned almost every gaming console and handheld since: ASNES, Sega Genesis, Playstation 1-3, XBox 360 / One, Nintendo Wii / Wii U, Game Boy, PSP, PS Vita.
Currently I own a PS4 Pro, XBox One X, Nintendo Switch, and a self built gaming PC.
School / Life
I am the first person in my family to go to college. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Cal Poly. While in college during one quarter of my Senior year I wrote a game engine and the following quarter I created a 3D First Person Shooter with a small team using my engine (see future blog post).
Work History
Most of my career has been as an Android developer. I've written apps for Fandango, Sony, Intuit, GoPro, Microsoft, and Airbnb... to name a few. My most recent employer was Airbnb, out of their LA office but mostly remote. Due to financial pressure on the travel industry Airbnb downsized 25% of staff and cut the entire office in LA. I am currently viewing this time as an opportunity to make my dream job a reality.
